What's inside this brochure?
Planisware Horizon is a Strategic Portfolio Management platform purpose-built for IT and digital business teams. This 2026 Solution Overview covers everything you need to evaluate Horizon: what it does, how it works, and why leading enterprises trust it.
Product overview. Horizon connects IT portfolios directly to business strategy within a single AI-powered cloud platform. It serves as a single source of truth across your digital and IT landscape, replacing fragmented tools with one governed system that spans the full lifecycle from idea to delivery.
Four core use cases. The brochure walks through how Horizon helps you invest in what matters most by scoring and ranking initiatives against strategic objectives and OKRs; balance spend, risk, and value by modeling funding scenarios in minutes and enforcing financial guardrails; deliver outcomes, not just projects by orchestrating agile, hybrid, and waterfall delivery with real-time milestone and risk tracking; and modernize IT around business value by rationalizing legacy applications and planning multi-year product roadmaps aligned to strategic outcomes.
AI at the core. Horizon is built around AI, not bolted on. Oscar, the embedded AI assistant, is available across every module. It automates routine work, answers natural-language portfolio questions, surfaces risks from lessons learned, and executes governed agentic workflows. The platform supports bring-your-own LLM (BYO-LLM) and connects to external AI agents and tools through MCP (Model Context Protocol), with support for Mistral AI, Ollama, and Gemini.
Key capabilities in depth. The brochure details eight capability areas: Strategic Planning with roadmap snapshots, OKR tracking, and SAFe methodology support; Ideation and Demand with a centralized intake portal, scoring workflows, and P&L generation; Business Case and Cost Control with dynamic CAPEX/OPEX scenario modeling, value-stream funding, and actuals-vs-budget comparisons; Capacity and Resources with multi-dimensional roll-ups, bottleneck analysis, and AI-based demand forecasting; Delivery at Scale with multi-methodology support (Agile, Waterfall, Phase gate, hybrid), JIRA and Azure DevOps integration, and burn-down and velocity reporting; AI for Digital Teams with predictive analytics, AI-assisted WBS construction, and automated risk identification; Reporting and Decision Intelligence with pre-built dashboards, the Planisware Explorer custom report builder, and BI Box for connecting Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Snowflake, and Microsoft Fabric; and Collaboration and Enterprise Integration with bidirectional connectors, Microsoft Teams integration, shared workspaces, and open APIs.
Integration ecosystem. Horizon connects out of the box with monday.com, Jira Software, SAP, Oracle Primavera, Salesforce, Azure DevOps, Kafka, SharePoint, Documentum, ServiceNow, and more.
