Planisware Center for Excellence provides new product development and innovation practitioners with a forum to discuss NPD and R&D practices that improve process maturity.
August 18, 2016 (San Francisco, Ca) -- Planisware, the leading global provider of Project and Product Portfolio Management (PPM) software solutions for new product development (NPD) organizations, announced today that it launched the Planisware Center for Excellence. The first PPM vendor-sponsored program dedicated solely to connecting NPD and R&D practitioners with each other and industry thought leaders, the Planisware Center for Excellence will feature a series of innovation masterclasses led by published authors recognized for their expertise in PPM.
For each day-long session, the masterclass leader will focus on either a specific emerging topic and its potential for competitive gains, or an established set of practices in PPM, presenting relevant research findings and methodologies that have been tested and proven to yield significant results. In addition, interactive group sessions enable each attendee to start elaborate scenarios to put these new insights into practice within their organizations. By limiting class size, the center seeks to enable one-on-one interactions between experts and attendees within a collaborative environment.

The masterclass series will kick off with a seminar on October 25th in Chicago led by Dr. Robert G. Cooper, creator of the original Stage-Gate methodology, who will introduce his new Agile-Stage-Gate hybrid NPD model for the first time in North America.
