Olivier Blancke is a Product Manager at Planisware with over 10 years of experience in investment planning and asset management for capital‑intensive industries. He holds an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from France and a PhD in Predictive Maintenance from Canada. Olivier began his career at Hydro‑Québec’s research center as a Research Scientist, where he led asset management initiatives and digital twin strategies to support decision‑making for electrical grid production and transmission systems. He later moved into consulting and pre‑sales roles within a software provider, designing and deploying Asset Investment Planning solutions for large industrial groups and utilities while supporting change management in complex decision environments. He joined Planisware in 2025 to leverage this combined research, market, and product expertise in shaping and developing the CAPEX and Asset Investment Planning product offering.
