Tuesday 19th September was a historic day for Planisware UK&I as the team made its debut at a customer conference in Manchester.
UK Exchange23 took place, appropriately enough, on the 23rd floor of Manchester’s iconic Hilton Hotel in Deansgate.
With colleagues, speakers and customers coming together from across the UK, Ireland, France and Germany, it was a chance to showcase the latest updates from Planisware, take some deep dives into the software and network.
To be in such an iconic location, is pretty big for us. It’s a huge milestone, I’m very, very proud for the team said Planisware UK&I CEO, Kai Ojo.
“And the feedback has been really positive. I mean the views kind of blew everyone away, but also the fact that they have been able to engage with other customers has been really very useful. That’s the power of the day.”
The event started with an interactive session from project management author, Elizabeth Harrin, who also gave delegates a signed copy of her new book ‘Managing Multiple Projects’.
Other invited guests came from manufacturing group Martin Baker and global financial specialist, Novuna, and BAT, who all described their Planisware journey.
“The people have always been very supportive of me personally, they’re very open to knowledge sharing and this vibe of wanting to share the knowledge. That’s been the main thing for me personally,” stated Sam Wilson of Martin Baker.
The afternoon gave the Planisware team the chance to explain some of the new innovations with the latest versions of the software, as well as an exclusive glimpse of what’s coming up.
To give our speakers and customers a full experience of our Greater Manchester office, they ended the day with a tour of the Salford Rum Company, complete with a tasting masterclass inspired by the history of Salford and Manchester.
