SAN FRANCISCO - August 31, 2021: Planisware has been positioned, along with only two other vendors, in Forrester's Now Tech: Strategic Portfolio Management Tools, Q3 2021 report as a “large, established” SPM provider (over $100M in annual revenue) in the “strategic portfolio management” functionality segment. According to the report, “Strategic portfolio management tools offer top-down planning capabilities.”
The report, authored by Forrester Vice President and Principal Analyst Margo Visitacion, states that “Organizations adopt SPM technology to: Visualize the end-to-end strategy to execution process… Accelerate strategic funding and decisioning.... [and] Optimize critical resources to maintain consistent flow of value.”
Forrester Now Tech segmented tool functionality into five segments:

- Project portfolio management

- Value stream management
- Other - enterprise management
