Our architecture makes this easy to set up. Connect your BI tool of choice to the database generated by BI-Box (or send it to your data lake/warehouse). The administration of BI-Box is simple and only requires selecting a time frequency for the automated export job. Once this has been finalized, you will be able to leverage your BI resources instead of spending time gathering information from numerous sources to create your reports.

BI-Box gives you data in a digestible format for BI tools using the industry standard star schema. All temporal information, such as cost and resource data, is pre-calculated to be used immediately to build reports. No additional transformations are required with BI-Box.

Simplify variance analysis with automatic data historization
One of the critical benefits of BI-Box is built-in data historization. You will have access to periodic (e.g., daily) snapshots of your data, which can easily be leveraged in the BI tool to generate delta reporting and variance analysis.

How to get started with BI-Box
BI-Box is a connector available to all Planisware Enterprise and Orchestra customers who operate on a SaaS model. Contact your Account Executive or Customer Success Manager for more information.
BI-Box requires minimal configuration. Once you have established the connection, select your desired dimensions, facts, and how often the data will automatically transfer.
