SAN FRANCISCO – February 14, 2022: Planisware today announced that it was recognized as a leader by independent research firm Forrester in The Forrester Wave™: Strategic Portfolio Management Tools, Q1 2022 report. Evaluations were based on company strategy, current offering, and market presence against 25 criteria.
"To be assessed as a leader in SPM providers is a wonderful acknowledgment," commented Antoine Villata, CEO of Planisware North America. "We believe we are being recognized for our product development in Enterprise Architecture and Artificial Intelligence, along with our more established program and resource management capabilities."
Forrester's 2022 Strategic Portfolio Management Wave report notes that "Planisware introduces EA capabilities to increase viability for IT decision-makers,” and has added "...highly competent EA capabilities to support its robust financial and strategic portfolio resources." According to the report, "AI and machine learning (ML) capabilities reinforce advanced analytics and decision support..."
The report advises that SPM customers should look for providers that offer "consolidated strategy planning capabilities" and "support for organizations in transition." It states that "Companies are still determining how to adjust their budgeting and capacity planning to support more nimble funding practices or team-based forecasting at a portfolio level." It also observes that "Planisware has strong dynamic funding and investment modeling and collaboration capabilities that extend strategic planning to non-power users."
"Planisware Enterprise 7 addresses a strong market trend toward new funding approaches that move beyond project-driven budgets,” said Nicolas Vilars, Planisware's global CMO.
