San Francisco, Ca. – Planisware™, the leading global provider of Project & Product Portfolio Management solutions, recently held their 2013 Life Sciences Summit at The James Hotel in downtown Chicago, bringing together more than 100 customers and partners to discover the latest innovations in Planisware software, share learned experiences, and discuss leading practices in PPM.
Featured presentations included a key note from Pierre Demonsant, CEO and founder of Planisware, who reviewed Planisware milestones and achievements of the past year, including strengthened SaaS and guided best practice offerings, increased presence across industry verticals, and an expanded footprint in Asia. A demonstration of Planisware software focused on recently released capabilities, including collaborative social networking features and an in-tool presentation module, while a preview of the roadmap of future product developments concluded the key note presentation. This was followed by real life implementation and support case studies from Pfizer, Bristol-Myers Squibb, MedImmune, and Stryker Instruments.
Throughout the two-day event, attendees had numerous opportunities to engage in focused, small group breakout discussions. Experienced customer subject matter experts with best-in-class implementations, as well as consultants from Planisware and partner companies presented case studies and facilitated round table sessions on a series of topics, such as Leveraging the Ideation Module to Promote Innovation, Accounting for Risk in your Development Pipeline, Implementation Leading Practices, and Training, Communication, and Change Management Tips, among others.
Interactive and instructional workshops, led by Planisware consultants, covered a variety of industry processes supported by Planisware software. Example workshops included Enterprise Reporting, Portfolio Management Best Practices, Elevating Resource Capacity Management Maturity, Functional Planning, Working Collaboratively in Planisware, and Clinical Trial Management in Planisware.
